Work cross-functionally to improve delivery performance, streamline operations, and support strategic account growth.</p><h4>Supervisory Responsibilities</h4><ul><li>None</li></ul><h4>Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities</h4><h5>Logistics & Trade Expert</h5><ul><li>Manage day to day import operations from Asia: documentation accuracy, customs broker coordination, and carrier scheduling.</li><li>Monitor all inbound shipments; proactively communicate clearance status, holds, delays, and mitigation plans.</li><li>Advise Customer Support of any local customs holds impacting delivery timelines.</li><li>Communicate delivery schedule changes, new ship dates, and mitigation steps to stakeholders.</li><li>Coordinate with regulatory on logistics gaps and recommend process improvements.</li><li>Ensure import documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, HS/HTS codes, Incoterms, etc.) is accurate and compliant.</li><li>Partner with freight forwarders, 3PLs, and couriers to secure on-time deliveries.</li><li>Collaborate with Finance and Operations on landed cost accuracy and intercompany charges.</li><li>Track lane performance, analyze costs, and recommend operational improvements.</li><li>Stay current on customs regulations and update SOPs and stakeholders accordingly.</li></ul><h5>DSO/OSO (Group Account) Operational Readiness</h5><ul><li>Lead operational setup and readiness for DSOs/OSOs headquartered in Asia.</li><li>Serve as the operational point of contact for group accounts.</li><li>Drive cross-partner process improvements and operational initiatives.</li><li>Build and maintain operational dashboards.</li><li>Resolve escalations and improve overall group account experience.</li></ul><h5>New Territory Expansion</h5><ul><li>Support operational planning for new North American market entries.</li><li>Evaluate logistics, customs, and fulfillment requirements for new territories.</li><li>Support system setup requirements for new territories.</li><li>Assist with risk assessments, contingency planning, and pilot execution.</li></ul><h4>Travel Requirements</h4><ul><li>Up to 10% domestic and international travel</li></ul><h4>Required Skills and Abilities</h4><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field.</li><li>3+ years of experience in international logistics or import operations.</li><li>Strong knowledge of customs compliance, FDA and CBP regulations, HS/HTS, and Incoterms.</li><li>Experience supporting complex or multi-site customers preferred.</li><li>Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Medical device or healthcare operations experience preferred.</li></ul><h4>Physical Requirements</h4><ul><li>Regular communication via phone, email, or virtual meetings.</li><li>Prolonged periods sitting and working at a computer.</li><li>May require unpredictable hours during emergencies.</li></ul>
