Together, you'll do so much more than consult.The WorkCollaborate with clients to understand and analyze their Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM/ETRM) processes, with a focus on the Allegro platform and its role within energy, commodity trading, and risk management operations.Lead the functional design and implementation of Allegro-based solutions, ensuring alignment with client business needs and regulatory requirements across commodity markets.Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with key stakeholders to define business objectives and develop comprehensive functional specifications for Allegro configurations and enhancements.Oversee system configuration and customization of Allegro to meet client requirements, including transaction capture, risk management, logistics, accounting, and reporting.Manage and support user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring all configurations and customizations perform as expected and meet client expectations.Provide hands-on support throughout Allegro implementations, ensuring smooth integration with upstream and downstream systems and optimal performance across trading, risk, and finance teams.Partner closely with technical teams to enable accurate data integration, ensuring consistency and integrity of trading and risk data across systems.Deliver training and knowledge transfer to client teams on Allegro functionality, promoting long-term system adoption and self-sufficiency.Contribute to the development of best practices, delivery methodologies, and implementation strategies for Allegro deployments and upgrades across commodity markets.Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and Allegro product updates to provide forward-looking insights and ensure client solutions remain competitive.

As a US Treasuries Trader at Optiver, you will take a leading role in trading and risk-managing US Treasuries across multiple venues. You'll drive macro trading strategies by taking positions and analyzing macroeconomic data, policy shifts, and cross-asset flows to uncover and capitalize on short- and medium-term market opportunities.What you'll do<ul><li>Trade and manage risk across US Treasuries and related instruments, leveraging Optiver's proprietary pricing models and infrastructure.</li><li>Quote and execute orders for institutional counterparties while ensuring tight, competitive pricing and efficient hedging.</li><li>Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers, developers, and other traders to continuously refine pricing models, execution algorithms, and trading strategies.</li><li>Monitor macroeconomic data releases, policy developments and cross-asset flows to identify and act on short and medium term trading opportunities.</li><li>Build and maintain relationships with market participants to deepen Optiver's presence in the US treasury ecosystem.</li><li>Contribute to strategic development of new trading products and markets in the US Treasury space.</li></ul>Who you are<ul><li>Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent in a quantitative discipline</li><li>Experience in trading US treasuries, ideally in options, otherwise related derivatives.</li><li>Proven ability to manage risk and interpret macro drivers in the rates markets.</li><li>Ability to build relationships with institutional counterparties is desirable but not essential.</li><li>Proficiency in Python is a plus, as is familiarity with electronic trading systems (e.g., MTS, Eurex, Bloomberg, Tradeweb).</li></ul>Who we areAt Optiver, our mission is to continuously improve the market.
