Fairview Range is hiring a Certified Athletic Trainer for our Rehabilitation Services department in Hibbing, MN. Fairview Range Rehabilitation Services is a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team that provides outstanding, well-rounded care to our community. We recognize that providing the tools and opportunities to our clinicians to improve their education and skills directly correlates with our ability to best serve our patients and our community. The Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) will provide safe and effective patient care including patient evaluation, treatment, reassessment, and discharge planning. The ATC will work in partnership with local schools, other community resources, and various departments within our organization to provide exceptional care to athletes and other individuals seeking athletic training services. Schedule:  Hours as needed. Weekends: As Needed  Internal posting through: 8/2/25 About Fairview Range Outpatient Rehab:Fairview Range Rehabilitation Services provides comprehensive adult and pediatric physical, occupational and speech therapy services as well as adult cardiac and pulmonary rehab. Occupational therapy specialty services include wheelchair assessments, upper extremity and hand therapy, cognitive therapy, cancer rehab and pediatric rehab. Speech therapy specialty services include articulation and phonological disorders, apraxia, cognitive therapy, dysarthria, feeding (picky eaters, program growing to include birth to 2), voice therapy, swallowing and MBSS. The most comprehensive health care network in northeastern Minnesota, Fairview Range includes Fairview Range Medical Center, Fairview Mesaba Clinics (with locations in Hibbing, Nashwauk, and Mountain Iron), and Fairview Range Home Care and Hospice.  Apply today to join our 34,000+ employees and 5,000+ system providers working to build lasting relationships with the people we serve: our patients, our communities, and each other. As a Certified Athletic Trainer, you will be responsible for:<ul><li>Evaluating athletes for injury.</li><li>Determining level of care needed.</li><li>Assisting in appropriate referral to medical personnel.</li><li>Communicating proper follow-up care to patients, coaches, and any other medical support personnel.</li><li>Determining playability of injured athletes in both practice and competition.</li><li>Maintaining treatment records on athletes.</li><li>Obtaining adequate and appropriate supplies for effective care via school administration.</li><li>Working with schools to track parental consents, emergency information, and other medical records pertinent to athletes.</li><li>Working with coaching staff on pre-season programs to help prevent injuries and prepare athletes for competition as requested.</li><li>Assisting coaching staff in game preparation of equipment and supplies needed to handle athletic injuries.</li><li>Providing patient and family education to maximize treatment program.</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in applicable health-care field.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Board of Certification Certified Athletic Trainer.</li><li style="margin-bottom:0in">Current Athletic Trainer license with the MN Board of Medical Practice.</li><li>BLS</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li style="margin-bottom:0in">1-3 years experience.</li><li>Membership of the National Athletic Training Association.</li></ul>

$23.90-$34.89 Hourly
