Overview Cognito Systems, a Planned Systems International (PSI) joint venture, is seeking PRN (Backfill) Athletic Trainer to work at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, California.  This would be for scheduled leave coverage, M-F 40/hours per week).  The lives of our nation’s active-duty military depend on outstanding healthcare. As a civilian contractor working for Cognito Systems, you will serve as an Athletic Trainer, contributing to the mission of the United States Marine Corps’ Sports Medicine Injury Prevention (SMIP) Program. Your expertise will play a vital role in optimizing Marine performance and readiness. National Provider Identifier (NPI). </li><li>Certification: Unrestricted state license/registration/certification in any of the 49 regulated states, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the US Virgin Islands to provide health care within the scope of practice for Athletic Trainers per state practice acts. </li><li>Experience: Five years of relevant Athletic Training work experience. Experience working with active populations (e.g. military, high school, collegiate, professional sports, performing arts, occupational health). </li><li>Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship.  </li><li>Credentialing: Ability to pass background check and drug screen. Current physical and immunizations. </li><li>Physical: Possess and maintain the ability to lift and manipulate loads or weights up to 20 kilograms/45lbs.</li><li>Job Site Requirements: You must be on the premises to perform the job.
