Qualifications Minimum Education: Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent and Graduate of an Accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Preferred: Associate or Bachelors Degree in Related Field of Study Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required: At least one year of experience Preferred: 3 years of experience License, Registry or Certification: Required: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Credential or registry-eligible in appropriate areas of Ultrasound (general, OB-GYN, Vascular) Preferred: Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Required: Must have diagnostic ultrasound examination skills and be able to integrate scientific knowledge and technical skills to effectively interact with all patients to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic information. Primary Position Responsibilities 1.Performs all ultrasound procedures (General, OB-Gyn, Breast and/or Vascular, as appropriate) including patient positioning, machine set-up, image acquisition, measurements, and post-processing.
