Reporting to the Supervisor, Behavioral Health services, the Specialist, Crisis Intervention & QMHS operates primarily in the community and provides community psychiatric support, rapid response, screening, de-escalation, crisis intervention, resource linkage, transportation, and care coordination services for individuals experiencing behavioral health needs or a behavioral health crisis. The Specialist, Crisis Intervention & QMHS supports the development and execution of treatment plans, helps clients and families access community resources, provides transportation when clinically appropriate, and assists individuals in resolving crises or connecting to assessment and treatment in an appropriate setting.
