Interviews, hires, and trains employees; plans, assigns, and directs work; recognizing and rewarding employees; corrective disciplinary procedures and practices (under overall direction of Transportation manager and in partnership with Human Resources), addresses complaints and resolves problems. It includes providing guidance, training and oversight for the assigned drivers, monitoring safety and maintenance of vehicles and equipment, as well as representing the Transportation Department in all necessary meetings and interdisciplinary discussions.
