What We Are Looking For: Bachelor's Degree required, advanced degree or an accredited supply chain certification a plus • 10+ years of transportation operations management experience preferably CPG operations; experience in carrier procurement / management • Demonstrated experience and understanding of carrier operations and costs ideally within beverages and food industry • Strong carrier management experience managing multiple modes including Truckload (Dry & Reefer), Bulk Tanker (Liquid & Dry), Intermodal, LTL (Dry & Reefer) and Small Parcel • Demonstrated experience building a primarily asset-based carrier portfolio with minimal reliance on freight Brokers / Non-Asset based transportation providers • Experience working as part of cross functional project team and taking lead functional role on key projects • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Knowledgeable on DOT and FSMA rules and regulations • Experience Managing Carrier Claims • Minimal Travel Required (~10%).
