Here's what you'll do: Often overseeing the work of a small group of individuals on a project team Contribute to the technical development of others Act as lead planner of projects, particularly those of moderate to complex scopes Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets Responsible for project task management and adherence to project deadlines, budget, and scope Responsible for project finances: proper accounting of job costs, efficient and accurate invoice preparation, and prompt payment of outstanding accounts Ability to direct and review the work of project team members, coordinate with other groups, units and consultants for project support Conduct field investigations to analyze factors affecting community development, redevelopment and address community decline Identify, monitor, and evaluate potential risks and claims Support business development efforts with the ability to secure work with existing clients and help procure work with new clients Prepare or assist in developing proposals and contracts Confirm terms of contract are met and secure supplemental agreements as required Coordinate staff for construction observation, site inspection, or other fieldwork, and may perform fieldwork Confirm compliance with environmental, safety, or other governmental regulations Properly close out projects in accordance with established procedures Provide feedback to project team in a timely manner Participate in career planning sessions with junior employees and provide input to employee evaluations when requested Perform other duties as assigned.
