Engage, mentor, and motivate junior staff through counsel, goal setting guidance, and knowledge transfer • Coordinate staff required for internal project teams, including directing, coordinating and reviewing work by others • Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships for both new and existing clients • Work with other senior staff within Infrastructure & Transportation and other practices groups, as necessary, to execute project delivery • Act as EXP's representative with the client and selected subcontractors during project execution • Lead the preparation of proposals and presentations for project pursuits • Manage a wide variety and complexity of highway related projects • Maintain project schedules and manage project financials including profit/loss responsibility and targeted direct margin • Perform design computations, oversee report, plan and specification development and sign and seal construction documents as necessary • Oversee and approve invoicing/billing, manage project scope, and secure change orders as necessary. BS in Civil Engineering from an Accredited University 20+ years of progressively responsible relevant experience Licensed PE in the State of Wisconsin; the ability to obtain licensure in other states is desired Knowledge of work related to delivering transportation projects in Wisconsin Strong leadership and project management skills and the ability to work in a team environment Demonstrated ability to manage and lead diverse project teams with a strong track record of project delivery from both a technical and financial perspective Experience in planning, design, environmental and design report preparation, public involvement, and WisDOT project delivery A proven track record of innovation, leadership, and quality assurance Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and ability to direct and supervise staff engineers and technicians Ability to mentor engineering staff and provide quality oversight of technical documents Industry participation in professional societies preferred.
