Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for duties associated with the preparation of all outbound dispatching for deliveries to customers.  Work closely with drivers, supervisors and Transportation Manager.  

Essential Functions:
<ul><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Verify customer invoices</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Assemble outbound paperwork, print invoices. Record and collate COD information on bills of lading, drivers manifest, logs, and inspection sheets. </li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Ensure documents are completed and approved properly. </li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Provide clerical assistance as needed.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Maintain weekly and monthly transportation reports.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Assist sales with tracing orders, and re-routing orders if needed</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Complete and audit driver’s daily activity reports.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Record all COD information on bills of lading.</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Sort, file, fax, copy and/or distribute paperwork</li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Must maintain good attendance. </li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Maintain safe work practices. </li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Maintain safeguards of confidential company information. </li><li style="margin-left:0.25in">Other duties and special projects as requested.</li></ul>

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude:
<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required.  </li><li>Previous clerical experience and knowledge of operations and transportation functions preferred.  </li><li>Must be proficient with MS Office.</li><li>Strong data-entry with high rate of accuracy preferred.  </li><li>Bilingual in Spanish a plus.</li></ul>Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude:<ul><li>Excellent communication, grammar, verbal and writing skills.  </li><li>Must be resourceful and well organized with an ability to work on multiple projects with minimal supervision.  </li><li>Above average telephone skills with experience focusing on customer satisfaction (internal and external).  </li><li>High energy level, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature and flexible. </li></ul>
