The successful candidate will bring strong technical, administrative, and interpersonal skills; sound independent judgment; and the ability to manage complex programs, competing priorities, and sensitive issues while maintaining effective relationships with City officials, regional partners, contractors, and the community. The position oversees transportation and transit planning, traffic engineering, traffic signal infrastructure, transit operations, crossing guards, review of private projects for transportation impacts, transportation capital project delivery, consultant and contractor management, and operating and capital budgets.
