Summary Description of Classification: To ensure system accountability and assist in the safe and efficient operation of the Transportation Department by managing and analyzing data provided by the following systems: Route planning software, GPS software, electronic fuel management system, digital time clock, field trip software, fleet maintenance software, all applicable data bases. Certificate and License Requirements: Physical Demands: Tasks involve the regular and, at times, sustained performance of moderately physically demanding work, typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, and that may involve the lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (20-50 pounds).
