This position offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact by expanding market presence, strengthening channel partnerships, and driving specifications of influence across key industries.<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>Revenue Growth & Market Expansion<ul><li>Achieve revenue targets by growing existing accounts, developing new customers, and converting competitive opportunities.</li><li>Manage the full sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up on leads, quotations, submittals, and conversions to purchase orders.</li><li>Maintain expert-level knowledge of Berner’s product portfolio and competitive differentiators.</li></ul>Channel Development & Relationship Management<ul><li>Recruit, develop, and manage third-party manufacturer representatives and dealer/distributor networks.</li><li>Strengthen channel performance through regular business reviews, training, and improvement plans.</li><li>Collaborate closely with Inside Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.</li></ul>Market Influence & Specifications<ul><li>Drive product specifications by influencing architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and installers.</li><li>Maintain strong awareness of HVAC, Dock & Door, and Food Service market trends, construction pipelines, competitors, and regional dynamics.</li><li>Build strategic relationships to anticipate and capitalize on emerging opportunities. </li></ul>Reporting & Insights<ul><li>Leverage CRM and ERP systems to deliver accurate forecasting, KPI reporting, and actionable insights to leadership.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven self-starter with the ability to manage priorities independently in a remote environment.</li><li>Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to sell technical products.</li><li>Ability to interpret specifications, blueprints, and equipment schedules.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making abilities.</li><li>Customer-focused, collaborative, and results-oriented mindset.</li></ul><h3>Ideal Background</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of outbound sales or customer-facing experience.</li><li>Prior experience with HVAC, electrical, or mechanical products strongly preferred.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>401K with company match</li><li>Health, dental and vision insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid maternity and paternity leave</li><li>Short- and long-term disability</li><li>Life Insurance</li><li>Company provided phone and laptop</li><li>Mileage related reimbursement for company related travel</li></ul>Berner Air Curtains is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
