Provide direct nursing care to acutely and chronically ill medical-surgical and orthopedic patients, including post-operative general surgery, GYN surgery, and total knee and hip replacement patients. Monitor and manage patients with diagnoses including acute/chronic respiratory illness, CHF/pulmonary edema, active GI bleeding, renal failure, diabetes (hyper- and hypoglycemic conditions), arrhythmia, drug overdose, and stable COVID.
