Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience Experience with Neuro conditions, including strokes and carotid procedures Experience with nurse sedation Competency in IV insertion Flexibility for first-time travelers Description: The unit includes two Interventional Radiology suites, with one neuro suite sharing a hybrid room. Common diagnoses and types of patients include embolization, Y90, neuro procedures, carotid stents, strokes, epistaxis, neph tubes, nephroureteral stent placements, ports, trans-jugular liver biopsies, G-tube and GJ-tube placements, AVF (fistulas), assisting with paracentesis, cardiac CTs, CT abscess drains, and bone marrow procedures.
