As an integral member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team, the Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse collaborates with nephrologists, physicians, hospital staff nurses, and other hospital staff to coordinate timely dialysis care, optimize patient outcomes, and ensure continuity of care. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, including the ability to recognize changes in patient condition and safely manage dialysis access, medication administration, and infection prevention.
