Demonstrated competency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, central line and PICC line care, blood product administration, heparin and IV insulin protocols, high-flow nasal cannula, wound care/wound vac, and use of Rapid Response/Code teams. Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio; every other weekend required; 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule; float rotation to other acute care units as needed.
