Passionate belief in the ability of all students to graduate college-ready; participation or experience working with a school; excellent writing skills; Ability to work well with middle and high school students; culturally competent, meaning they deal easily with multiple ethnic groups; strong organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and an ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, peers, and parents. Preferred: Previous student tutoring or mentoring experience, community-based academic support program.
