We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable (AP) Data Entry Clerk to join our team. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong experience in AP data entry, invoice processing, and laboratory invoicing procedures. The AP Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for handling high-volume, repetitive invoicing tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. This position also involves working with accounting software systems and providing excellent internal and external customer service support.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities<br/> Perform high-volume data entry for accounts payable invoices with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness<br/> Process and verify laboratory invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures<br/> Review, code, and enter invoices into accounting software systems<br/> Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for proper documentation<br/> Resolve discrepancies by communicating with vendors and internal departments<br/> Maintain organized records of all AP transactions and supporting documentation<br/> Assist with invoice reconciliation and payment processing<br/> Provide professional and responsive customer service to vendors and internal teams<br/> Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable<br/> Continuously identify opportunities to improve invoice processing efficiency

<p><strong>THE ARC OF SOUTHWEST GEORGIA</strong></p><p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION</strong><br/><strong>MEDICAID ACCURACY ASSISTANT / DATA ENTRY</strong></p><div><hr/></div><p><strong>JOB SUMMARY:</strong></p><p>This full-time position is responsible for entering data into Therap and reviewing Medicaid billing services. The individual will review all Medicaid billable services (weekly and bi-weekly) and enter all non-waiver individual services on a weekly basis.</p><p>The review process includes ensuring documentation is person-centered and contains sufficient information to meet Medicaid billing standards. Confidentiality of all individual information must be maintained at all times.</p><p><strong>Non-Exempt Position</strong></p><div><hr/></div><p><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure all documentation meets Medicaid regulations and is billable on a daily basis</li><li>Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot communication with the identified transit/transport system</li><li>Ensure Medicaid billing accuracy for all waiver and non-waiver individuals through Therap on a weekly basis</li><li>Conduct and track monthly drills for the center</li><li>Send written and Brightwell communications to staff and families</li><li>Produce weekly and monthly reports identifying billable and non-billable services</li><li>Conduct monthly inventory counts for SMS supplies and report low stock to Compliance</li><li>Provide explanations for services that are not billed</li><li>Schedule and maintain CAI services, including written schedules and ensuring documentation is complete and billable</li><li>Transport individuals using an agency van as needed</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul><p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.</p><div><hr/></div><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><p><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED equivalent</li><li>Strong computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Office Suite)</li><li>Strong math skills</li><li>Knowledge of Medicaid billing</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience working with electronic database systems</li><li>Ability to operate standard office equipment (e.g., calculators, fax machines)</li><li>Professional demeanor and ability to work well with others</li></ul><div><hr/></div><p><strong>OTHER KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain and troubleshoot communication with transit/transport systems</li><li>Ensure completion of monthly drills</li><li>Monitor inventory and report supply needs</li><li>Communicate effectively with staff and families</li><li>Provide transportation as needed</li><li>Support CAI service scheduling and documentation compliance</li><li>Assist with direct support duties when needed, including care, outings, and documentation</li></ul><div><hr/></div><p>The individual must demonstrate a caring and patient attitude and maintain a working knowledge of The Arc of Southwest Georgia’s mission, vision, programs, and services, as well as its accreditation standards.</p><div><hr/></div><p><strong>TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:</strong></p><p>Work is performed in an office environment designed to support efficiency and productivity.
