Our primary customer is the Independent Retail Dealer ranging from the large full-line sporting goods stores to hardware stores, marinas, tackle shops, feed & seed stores, etc. Our sales force is comprised of 9 outside sale reps covering all of Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee as well as East Texas, Southern Arkansas, and North Florida. In addition to our outside sales force, we have 4 in-house Telemarketers covering primarily the Midwest, Northeast and Southern Florida. The traveling Sales staff are supported by an in-house Customer Service team. Provide clerical assistance to the Collection Department. Answer phones, process correspondence, and maintain accurate files. Make recommendations on actions that should be taken if loan collateral is in jeopardy, reporting to the Collections Manager. FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt        Department: Administration   Supervisory Responsibilities:  NONE   Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. <ul><li>Process all correspondence for collections department, ensuring accuracy of work. Create form letters, type labels, and provide general administrative support.</li><li>· Analyze accounts to identify next steps (i.e. account types, amount owed, credit score, collateral value, etc.)</li><li>Maintain collection files according to department procedures.</li><li>Input data into the credit union’s collection system and generate reports as requested.</li><li>Supervise mailing of payment notices, ensuring that credit union errors are detected promptly and corrected.</li><li>Provide members with a complete explanation of the loan’s status as requested.</li><li>Prepare information needed or required by collection agency, and post receipts from collection agency.</li><li>Correspond with attorneys regarding accounts that have been sent out for legal.
