The primary purpose of the Material Planner is to provide management of inventory, materials and equipment capacity relating to planning customer requirements, planning materials, monitor planning of production orders to meet inventory objectives, customer delivery expectations, operational efficiencies and company objectives. Must have effective communications skills, both oral and written, to successfully interact with Customer Service, Manufacturing, Interplant customers, other Planners and all co-workers.
