Key Responsibilities: • Schedule service and satisfy customer needs for service changes. Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established policies. • Dispatch calls to routes based upon designated route and driver location. • Perform driver check-ins at day's end to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion. • Distribute, collect and review route sheets for proper days end data entry. • Ensure coordination with other departments, clarifying roles and responsibilities for resolving service issues. • May perform some additional responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager.] • Interacts with customers, customer service department, sales, & Operations staff reporting to Operations Manager. • Works with routing specialists to optimize routes. • Fields incoming calls / emails from customers. • Trouble shoots and resolves potential delivery and pickup problems before they result in service issues. • Assists in determining daily level of driver staffing to provide best mix of responsiveness and productivity. • Records and document information from drivers and distributes to appropriate departments. • Communicates with maintenance shop personnel. • Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally via email, telephone and two way devices. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies: • Completion of high school. Post-secondary courses or diploma would be considered an asset. • 1-2 years in a transportation, dispatch or customer service role. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong customer focus. • Proven ability to multi-task & ability to prioritize tasks. • Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word. • Knowledge of industry an asset. • Advanced skill level with software applications and word processing accuracy including adequate typing speed. • Required to work extended hours including occasional weekends. • Possess TRUX experience but not mandatory, if not possess desire and ability to learn TRUX system, needs to possess advanced computer skills. • Additional or specialized training in transportation, logistics, or similar area of study; customer service experience in a call center environment. #GFLTalent We thank you for your interest.    OVERVIEW  Under the general direction of the Director of Federal Grants, the Program Associate will oversee the administration of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) Grant for the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain (BGCCP). The Program Associate will be responsible for overall communication, partnership, data entry and collection, monitoring, quality assurance and reporting for the CCLC Grant.      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES    <ul><li>Ensure all 21st CCLC grant requirements are followed (data collection/sharing, data entry, program hours, transportation, meals, emergency preparedness plans and implementation, staffing, and grant specifics). </li><li>Work to align schools and the 21st CCLC program (students’ needs, academic support, enrichment opportunities, behavioral procedures, staffing, family engagement, sharing of space, data collection, staff meetings, etc.) </li><li>Coordinate, plan and schedule educational activities, programs, and events to support student academic success and enrichment as well as family engagement and support. </li><li>Establish and maintain positive and respectful working relationships with students, school, program staff, administration, parents/guardians, and community partners and members; demonstrate an awareness of and sensitivity to multicultural and multilingual values and environments. </li><li>Oversee the 21st CCLC Continuous Quality Improvement Process (CQIP) of the overall 21st CCLC grant program. Ability to create and distribute surveys, collect/monitor/interpret data, draw valid conclusions in collaboration with staff, school leaders, and advisory board to create relevant action plans, reports, and high interest programs. </li><li>Provide presentations about the 21st CCLC program to staff, partners and the public to raise awareness, support and the continuous quality improvement of the 21st CCLC program. </li><li>Ensure lesson plans, daily activities and schedules are being followed. </li><li>Meet with school district administrators at a minimum of a monthly basis, to ensure programming is meeting the needs of students and families. </li><li>Advise appropriate supervisor/manager/director of any issues to ensure efficient operations, and excellent customer service. </li><li>Participate in cross-functional and leadership teams, as well as regularly scheduled staff meetings and professional development to support the work of all 21st CCLC staff and volunteers. </li><li>Collaborate with community organizations to access resources to meet needs of students and families. </li><li>Work directly with the fiscal office to maintain and ensure funds are used in accordance with state and federal requirements. </li><li>Ensure that all organizational, local, state and federal program guidelines are being met and followed at assigned sites. </li><li>Maintain the integrity of confidential information relating to a student, family, colleague, or district patrons. </li><li>Complete general housekeeping to make sure the site is left clean and ready for the next program/day. </li></ul>  PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT     The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
