The scribe may not diagnose clients, develop treatment plans, determine interventions, independently summarize or interpret sessions, add information not provided by the therapist, alter clinical meaning, sign or finalize documentation, or provide counseling or clinical guidance. This position offers a unique opportunity for a Mercer student interested in psychology, social work, counseling, healthcare, pre-professional studies, or nonprofit work to gain direct exposure to the behavioral health field while developing practical professional skills.
