Provides specialized education and employment counseling, including helping clients identify appropriate educational, vocational, certification, and workforce-training opportunities; navigate admissions and enrollment processes; develop education and career plans, conducting vocational assessment, and assisting with resume development, interview preparation, job-search strategies, workplace readiness, and development of realistic career and employment goals. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with workforce development organizations, staffing agencies, employers, colleges, vocational and technical schools, training providers, government agencies, churches, and community service organizations to expand opportunities and resources available to clients.
