About the Role:
The Field Mechanic with MYR Group you'll travel to project sites across the designated service area, supporting our field teams. You’ll use your skills to perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, and minor equipment repairs safely and professionally. Like every team member, we will rely on you to provide exceptional customer service to internal customers. This position requires significant travel, (including overnight) to project locations, supporting teams to ensure successful operation of the equipment. At times, the Mechanic will be required to respond to emergencies outside regular work hours and work overtime including weekends and holidays. Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and company schedules</li><li>Frequently travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of equipment. Must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner</li><li>May provide oversight for less experienced mechanics</li><li>Perform routine and preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs</li><li>Identify mechanical problems either visually or with computer diagnostic equipment</li><li>Maintain records of time and materials used on each job, the condition of the equipment, and the repairs performed</li><li>Track information in computer software; ensure repair orders and weekly timesheets are complete and accurate</li><li>Conduct safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation</li><li>Work in accordance with DOT, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Interstate Authority, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and other rules and regulations as required</li><li>Participate in training programs; maintain and update safety skills and knowledge; keep current with hazardous material training requirements</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li><li>Regular and predictable attendance</li><li>Essential functions of this position are to be performed at a Company-designated office or field location</li><li>Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standards</li></ul>

About You:
