Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of the Physical Plant, the Groundskeeper is a full-time role responsible for the aesthetics, safety, and day-to-day care of Bethel University's campus grounds. This position supports a clean, attractive, and hazard-free environment for students, faculty, staff, and guests through routine landscaping, grounds maintenance, and seasonal operations. Duties include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Planting, pruning, and watering of shrubs, trees, flowers, etc., on campus grounds.</li><li>Leaf removal in and around structures and grounds.</li><li>Mowing and trimming turf areas on campus grounds and athletic fields.</li><li>Maintain grounds equipment as needed.</li><li>Help with landscape construction projects.</li><li>Trash and debris pick-up and disposal</li><li>Snow and ice removal on sidewalks, steps, roads, etc.</li></ul> Equipment Used:All grounds equipment, including: snow removal equipment, mowers, blowers, tractors, bobcat, chainsaw, shovel, rake, trucks, Gator, etc.Must have a valid driver's license.
