The Army PPB BOS program is seeking a User Support Specialist to provide Tier 1 user support for PPB BOS applications, ensuring end users can effectively access and use cPROBE applications and analytical tools. Position Description & Qualifications The Army PPB BOS program is seeking a User Support Specialist to provide Tier 1 user support for PPB BOS applications, ensuring end users can effectively access and use cPROBE applications and analytical tools. Serco supports the US Army as a prime for their PPB BOS contract maintaining their financial management application. Our team upgrades, maintains and manages the software that runs the Army’s cloud based financial systems to allow them to perform their missions successfully. In this role, you will: + Serve as the first point of contact for end users via ticketing tools for PPB BOS and related Army enterprise systems. + Handle incident intakes and resolution, account and access support, and routine troubleshooting under the guidance of senior service desk and system administration staff. + Follow standard operating procedures, use knowledge base articles for incident resolutions, and process service requests. + Recommend updates when gaps and recurring issues are identified. To be successful in this role, you must have: + U.S. Citizenship + An Active DoD Secret clearance + A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Factors, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other relevant field. + 2 years of experience providing helpdesk support on Software Systems and Applications. + Experience logging, categorizing, and tracking all incident and service requests; managing tickets through closure and confirming user satisfaction. + Experience in troubleshooting basic software issues and escalating complex issues to tier 2/3 support. + The ability to travel up to 10% of the time. This is a supervisory level position providing supporting monitoring testing and troubleshooting hardware and software regarding Web Development. Design pertaining to a Local Area Network (LAN) and the Enterprise Virtual Private Network (ENTERPRISE). An employee in this class works under the immediate supervision of a Senior Network Manager or System Administrator. He/she is allowed some degree of independence in carrying out the duties of the job. Work is reviewed through conferences and appraisal of the project from its inception through final stages.Duties and Responsibilities
Provides end users with support for all WEB-based Development and Design.
Regulates and manages the access rights of government employees who use the government websites. This includes the appearance and the setting up of website navigation.
Oversees the updates and maintenance of websites that have been developed.
Oversees the work of Web Technicians in the development/design of websites.
Oversees content placement.
Meets with stakeholders/end users to obtain input on development of websites inclusive of whether the site will be interactive or information-based.
Determines whether the online media is to sell product or services for the Government of the Virgin Islands.
Receives trouble tickets and handles the trouble call or assigns them to subordinate technicians or fixes the problems with web sites.
Closes trouble tickets.
Assists in designing or developing websites at times.
Utilizes a certain degree of creativity and latitude to get problems resolved.

A B.S. or B.A. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Management Systems, and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in a web hosting environment.OR
