The Usher/Ticket Taker is also responsible for greeting guests, assisting guests with finding their seats, controlling access points, and assisting guests when issues/problems arise.</p><p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ul><li>Assist guests with directional and informational inquiries by demonstrating strong knowledge of the facility and event(s).</li><li>Communicate in a professional manner with other building staff, clients, guests, supervisors and corporate staff on important information.</li><li>Work to effectively accommodate guests with disabilities, while complying with facility/event ADA requirements.</li><li>Display a calm and attentive demeanor when rectifying issues with guests.</li><li>Check COVID-19 vaccination cards and IDs of individuals attending the event.</li><li>Check and scan guest tickets upon entry to the facility/venue or section. Review guest tickets to direct them to the appropriate area.</li><li>Control access points to prevent unauthorized entries.</li><li>Report any activities or behaviors that conflict with facility/event policy or code of conduct to supervisor or Event Manager.</li></ul><p>QUALIFICATIONS</p><ul><li>A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency</li><li>A minimum of 0-1 years of related work experience</li><li>Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Exemplify a strong commitment and willingness to provide excellent customer service</li><li>Maintain a neat, clean and professional appearance</li><li>Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Sound judgement; able to make sound decisions</li><li>Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays</li></ul><p>Pay Scale: $16.07 - $17.14/hour</p><p>Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.</p><p>Benefits: This position may be eligible for benefits (ACA qualification).</p><p>AEG reserves the right to change or modify the employee's job description whether orally or in writing, at any time during the employment relationship. Ushers offer the best service possible to guests, visiting artists, and any other member of the public they may encounter. We are hiring now for our April 2026 - October 2026 concert and event season. Usher shifts are typically in the evening, although some events will take place during the day. Evening availability is required.</p><p>The Usher department at Leader Bank Pavilion is directly affiliated with the usher union, IATSE Local B-4. If hired, ushers should be willing to join the union if they are not already.</p><p>This position pays $18/hour.</p><p>WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO</p><p>Represent Live Nation and Leader Bank Pavilion to all venue visitors, including our business partners and artists, in a professional way.</p><p>Adapt to the needs of our diverse artists, changing schedules, and tours of varying sizes.</p><p>Facilitate a top-notch guest experience</p><p>Greeting all guests in a welcoming manner.</p><p>Answer guest questions accurately and thoroughly</p><p>Assist guests with locating their seats and examine tickets for entry to various seating areas around the venue during the event.</p><p>Assist with keeping the venue safe, clean and presentable to internal and external guests.</p><p>Direct guests around the venue</p><p>Inspect tickets or passes to verify authenticity and direct guests to their section/row/seat</p><p>Assist in verifying staff credentials to generally restricted areas.</p><p>Assist patrons by giving directions to places inside or outside the venue.</p><p>Guide guests to the exits or provide other instructions or assistance in the event of an emergency.</p><p>Ensure that all guests make their way safely out of the venue at the end of each event.</p><p>Learn and perform a multitude of different positions within the Usher department ranging from Front Row to Splitting to VIP Boxes. You will be trained on these various roles.</p><p>Maintain working knowledge of all venue policies and guest services protocols</p><p>Familiarize yourself with the Day of Show sheet and all key details of the event to include set times, names of artists, and other key details.</p><p>Responsible for maintaining a fun, friendly, and safe environment throughout the venue</p><p>Address behavior that is noncompliant with guest conduct expectations</p><p>Resolve guest complaints or challenges in an efficient manner, with appropriate service recovery.</p><p>Escalate concerns to appropriate members of the management team in a timely manner</p><p>Ensure that the assigned work area is presentable and ready for the public.
