Work is performed outdoors and/or indoors with exposure to noise, dirt, grease, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, fumes, animals, insects, chemicals, treated/untreated sewer, treated/untreated water, inclement weather, machinery with moving parts requiring use of protective devices and computer screens. Associates Degree or two-year vocational degree from an accredited college in mechanical, electrical, or welding and two years of experience in operations and/or maintenance or four (4) or more years experience as a Maintenance Specialist II or in industrial/environmental operations and/or maintenance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
