The Electrician, reporting to the Facilities Supervisor, performs a wide variety of activities to support the electrical demands of the institute including maintaining, installing, altering, and repairing electrical systems and subsystems used for generation, distribution, and utilization of electric energy for Scripps Research facilities. Maintain, install, alter, and repair electrical boards, panels and related distribution hardware, motors, motor control centers, transformers, switch gear, wiring, receptacles, lighting, fire alarm systems, dedicated circuits for sensitive equipment and freezers, and power systems drives.
