The fleet includes light and heavy-duty trucks, snowplows and spreaders, heavy construction equipment such as excavators, backhoes, paver's, rollers, sweepers, and water tank trucks, landscaping and grounds equipment including mowers and large robotic mowers, electric and hybrid vehicles, the County RIDE fleet of transit vans and buses, police and emergency response vehicles, fire apparatus and firefighting equipment, and other specialized equipment. Serves as the County’s senior fleet management professional, responsible for fleet operations, asset life-cycle management, fleet technology systems and data, alternative fuel and electric vehicle transition planning, regulatory compliance, and workforce development for the Division of Central Vehicle Maintenance; does other related duties as required.
