The Propulsion System (PRS) simulation and analysis Engineer is responsible for mainly using but also sometimes developing proprietary frameworks and codes to analyze efficiency of Electrified/non-Electrified Propulsion Technology studying several metrics and KPIs (vehicle range, energy consumption, fuel economy, acceleration, power and towing capability, gradeability, charging rates). 1-D modeling techniques of vehicle acceleration launches in different setups/scenarios (VDE, weight, traction limits, road grades …etc.)- and various fuel economy cycles for variety of propulsion systems including those that utilize but not limited to ICE, e-Machines, EVT, CVT, AT, MT, for hybrid and non-hybrid PRS for all existing PRS architectures.
