In this role you'll learn to master Primavera Project Planning P6 software (P6) as a Junior Scheduler (Scheduler in Training).   Primavera P6 software is considered the standard for project planning and scheduling in the construction industry.  As a Junior Scheduler you will learn and enhance your skills in the following areas:<ul><li>Use of P6 Software</li><li>Critical Path Methodology</li><li>Project Planning</li><li>Schedule Analysis</li><li>Baseline Schedule Development and Maintenance</li><li>Construction Duration Schedule Development</li><li>Schedule Report Development</li><li>Time Impact Analysis</li><li>On-line Meeting Facilitation and Collaboration</li><li>Critical Thinking</li><li>Communication (both written and verbal)</li><li>Time Management</li><li>Contract General Conditions</li></ul>  Qualifications Past successful candidates have possessed skills in the following areas:<ul><li>Must have 2+ years of project management experience in the construction industry or equivalent;</li><li>Degree in engineering, construction managment or similar </li><li>Basic P6 or other scheduling technolgy</li><li>Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. A DAY IN THE LIFE:
<ul><li>Responsible for managerial  aspects of a project including estimating, proposal preparation, contract negotiations, scheduling, budgeting, design review, and execution</li><li>Work closely with owners and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings</li><li>Participate in proposal meeting with owner to review the scope of work and provide value engineering ideas</li><li>Oversee the buyout process and selection of subcontractors</li><li>Conduct biweekly jobsite meetings</li><li>Partner with Superintendent to ensure safety, quality control, and schedule</li><li>Make sound decisions under tight deadlines</li></ul>

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul><li>3-5 years of construction experience running projects with a general contractor; design/build preferred</li><li>Advanced Technology, Food & Beverage, Multifamily, Life Science and/or Data Center project experience</li><li>Estimating experience required</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required</li></ul>
