All Escambia County BCC employees must establish and maintain effective working relationships with the general public, co-workers, elected and appointed officials and members of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, marital status, political affiliation, familial status, sexual orientation, pregnancy, or gender identity and expression. This position provides for the security, well-being, and humane treatment of impounded animals by performing daily care and handling related tasks, as well as providing customer service to the public for adoptions, admissions, and other Animal Welfare functions through either in person, email, and/or phone interactions.
