Our Mission is to promote health and wellness through excellent, compassionate care for all. The Program Manager for Volunteers and Internships is responsible for organizing, leading, and coordinating the volunteer and internship programs that support the mission and operational needs of Marin Community Clinics (MCC). Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Placement<ul><li>Recruit, select, onboard and place volunteers, interns, and other workforce development participants including people who shadow of providers.</li><li>Work with hiring managers to collect position needs using requisitions, assignment descriptions and other materials.</li><li>Develop volunteer job descriptions, policies and procedures, operational forms, and orientation/training materials. </li><li>Maintain and manage effective and timely advertising for volunteer and internship opportunities and represent MCC at local recruitment events.</li><li>Utilize applicant tracking system and ensure accurate, up-to-date records.</li><li>Regularly performs community outreach to source and place volunteers and interns.</li></ul>Onboarding & Orientation<ul><li>Coordinate onboarding activities, including requesting, collecting, and reviewing all required documentation.</li><li>Manage background checks, immunization records, pre-start screenings, and other compliance requirements.</li><li>Develop, schedule, and present new hire orientation for incoming workforce development roles.</li><li>Ensure adherence to all organizational policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.</li></ul>Program Coordination & Partnerships<ul><li>Establish and maintain strong relationships with appropriate High Schools, Colleges, training programs, and key community partners.</li><li>Collaborate with programs and pipelines for internships including medical assistants, dental assistants, and high school workforce initiatives.</li><li>Manage the volunteer pool and serve as a liaison between interns/volunteers, managers, and HR to ensure smooth program operations.</li><li>Analyze workflows and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.</li><li>Generate reports, metrics, and dashboards to provide regular updates to HR leadership.</li><li>Track participation, program hours, placement outcomes, and compliance metrics.</li></ul>Collaboration & Communication<ul><li>Respond to workforce phone calls, emails and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.</li><li>Work closely with department managers and HR staff to align placements with needs.</li><li>Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Operate independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.</li><li>Support HR Department initiatives and projects</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
