The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and comfort working in faith-based spaces.<h3 style="margin-top:14pt;margin-bottom:4pt">Key Responsibilities</h3>Community Engagement & Fundraising<ul style="margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px"><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Represent Muslim Aid at community events, Friday khutbahs, fundraisers, conferences, and conventions</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Build and maintain relationships with local masajid, community leaders, volunteers, and small businesses</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Organize grassroots fundraising events (e.g. Iftar dinners, benefit nights, volunteer-led drives) from planning through execution</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Cultivate prospective donors and supporters, with a long-term relationship-building mindset</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Deliver Islamic appeals and motivational presentations when appropriate</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Recruit, coordinate, and motivate local volunteers to support campaigns</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Coordinate all logistics, preparing materials, and day-of execution relating to booths for all conventions where Muslim Aid is being represented</li></ul>Event Planning & Logistics<ul style="margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px"><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Coordinate all event logistics, including booking venues, preparing materials, and managing day-of execution</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Set up and manage event booths/tables with branded items, banners, literature, etc.</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Ensure equipment (e.g. tablets, payment swipes) are functional and charged</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Track expenses, attendance, and donations collected at events</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Maintain accurate records and event follow-up in the CRM system</li></ul>Campaign Support & Promotion<ul style="margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px"><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Promote Muslim Aid campaigns (Ramadan, Qurbani, Emergency Appeals, Winter Relief) across regional partners and online platforms</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Distribute flyers and promotional materials at high-traffic community locations</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Collaborate with the national marketing and fundraising teams on content, planning, and tracking</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Provide feedback and recommendations on regional fundraising strategies</li></ul>General<ul style="margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px"><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Provide weekly updates and reports on activities and progress</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Support peak fundraising seasons with flexible hours, travel, and weekend work (especially during Ramadan, Qurbani, and Winter campaigns)</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Other duties as assigned</li></ul><h3 style="margin-top:14pt;margin-bottom:4pt">Qualifications</h3>Education:<ul style="margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px"><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Nonprofit Management, Islamic Studies, Marketing, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience may be considered)</li></ul>Experience (1–3 years preferred):<ul style="margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px"><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Community-based fundraising or outreach</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Organizing public events or campaigns</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Experience engaging faith-based audiences and donors</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Volunteer coordination and/or grassroots mobilization</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Public speaking in Islamic and community settings</li></ul>Skills & Attributes:<ul style="margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px"><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Strong public speaking skills, including comfort with Islamic appeals, khatiras, or khutbahs</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Excellent interpersonal communication—warm, professional, and confident</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Reliable, self-motivated, and organized with attention to detail</li><li style="font-size:11pt;font-family:'arial' , sans-serif">Tech-savvy;
