Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and host 2 events each month for the residents in the apartment community with the purpose of caring for and connecting with residents, connecting residents to one another and to services or local businesses in the wider community.
The Volunteer Programs Internship at ZooTampa offers hands on experience in volunteer management and best practices in interpretation to build skills that pave the way for a career in non-profit volunteer management and/or interpretation. In addition, the successful candidate will benefit from National Association of Interpretation training on best practices for connecting our guests to the animals in our care to inspire conservation actions and apply that training at one or more GEA conservation stations in the zoo.
