p>COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: -- Courses equivalent to a major in child or youth development, family studies, or an equivalent field of study, plus appropriate experience or additional course work that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the 4-year course of study in the field of child or youth development or family studies. Performs a variety of duties in support of the Family Child Care Program to include participation in suitability evaluations, management of resources, establishment and maintenance of a resource-lending program, accomplishment of required reports, creation and maintenance of necessary documentation and files, and carrying out of public relations tasks.

p>GS-08: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: interpreting and applying federal, state, Tribal, and third-party program regulations to determine eligibility and ensure compliance for programs such as Purchase Referred Care, Medicare, Medicaid, Affordable Care Act, Veterans Affairs Healthcare, and other alternate resources; conducting in-depth patient interviews to assess eligibility, verify coverage, and complete applications; registering eligible patients in various assistance programs; resolving claim denials and eligibility issues through coordination with patients, healthcare providers, and outside agencies; reviewing Medicaid eligibility information and supporting billing requirements; and utilizing effective oral and written communication to explain program requirements, provide referrals, and resolve complex patient service issues. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: determining patient eligibility for alternate resources programs; interpreting and applying Medicare, Medicaid, VA, and other third-party payer policies and procedures; conducting patient interviews to identify available healthcare coverage and funding sources; assisting patients with enrollment and claims processes; researching and resolving eligibility, denial, and reimbursement issues; maintaining effective working relationships with patients and resource agencies; and safeguarding confidential patient information in accordance with Privacy Act and HIPAA requirements.
Collaborates with customers and IT to determine the appropriate internal IT processes necessary to manage and administer new technology requests from city departments, such as: gap analysis project proposal (GAPP), request for technology (RFT) form, and other IT purchasing processes. The Production Coordinator is a member of the Arts & Culture team within the Arts & Culture Division and coordinates daily production activities, scheduling and managing technical operations for staging, lighting, sound, and rigging; facilitates communication between artists and staff at the Tempe Center for the Arts (TCA). The position also maintains and schedules more than 250 annual classes, planning large-scale annual events, coordinates brochure submissions and program marketing materials, and manages contracted instructors through recruitment, background checks, scheduling, and payment processing.
p>Arts Learning Coordinator is a leading member of the Community Arts team within the Arts & Culture Division and coordinates visual arts classes, workshops and arts learning initiatives at the Edna Vihel Arts Center and satellite locations. Responds to inquiries from the public, artists, and organizations regarding Arts and Culture programs, services and facilities as they relate to assigned work area; builds partnerships to expand access and participation.

Negotiates, reviews and manages professional consultant contracts for engineering and real estate services, including engineering reports, appraisal reports, environmental site assessments, property surveys and demolitions.

li>Works assigned projects at the State, County, Tribal and local jurisdictional level emergency management enterprises in support of all phases of emergency management, that enhance priorities and objectives for Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) activities and the DEMA Strategic Plan. The Disaster Reservist Coordinator 2 (DRC 2) will deploy to act as liaison between the SEOC and county/local Emergency Operations Centers (EOC) and or Incident Command Posts (ICP) to support intelligence gathering in the field and supporting policy decisions to mitigate the effects of the disaster.
Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: Work as an assistant to one of the specialized therapies, such as occupational, physical, manual arts, corrective, or educational therapy; or Experience gained as an assistant or aid in patient care, social work, or psychology where the duties involved actual participation in physical medicine and activities of a hospital or clinic.
