Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and host 2 events each month for the residents in the apartment community with the purpose of caring for and connecting with residents, connecting residents to one another and to services or local businesses in the wider community.
The Security Officer will be responsible for patrolling the hotel grounds to identify, report, and prevent or deescalate any unusual activity or hazardous discrepancies. Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Security Officer or Loss Prevention Agent in an upscale or luxury environment.
li>Identify, assess, and action security and safety events, including but not limited to unauthorized stops, route deviations, extended dwell, loss of signal, and tampering indicators. 2+ years of domestic (U.S.) transportation or logistics experience required, including over-the-road freight or carrier operations.
Develops and assists with Fort Bend County volunteer programs (including but not limited to: Medical Reserve Corp, Sheriff's Office "You Are Not Alone", Emergency Management Radio Operators Group, Community Support Team, Fort Bend Interfaith Ministries) in the deliverance of public awareness and planning programs, including presentations, printed materials, published articles, web-based information, and citizen-based readiness programs. Minimum Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree from accredited university with preferred degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, Emergency Management, or a directly related field; OR 4 years of directly applied experience in any of the disciplines above may substitutes for the degree requirement.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience performing research, evaluation, and analysis of specialized legal topics and points of law; summarizing and explaining case files, depositions, or interrogatories; maintaining discovery and evidence in electronic and hard copy formats and presenting exhibits using trial presentation software in court; and participating in pre-trial witness conferences. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience performing research, evaluation, and analysis of specialized legal topics and points of law; interpreting, applying and explaining to others the laws, policies and regulations; evaluating previous fact-finding and problem-solving methods to resolve conflicting statements; analyzing issues of law in order to draft legal documents, briefs, and advisory opinions or findings.
