This role ensures compliance with DoD, USAF, and program‑specific security policies while supporting personnel vetting, access control, facility operations, cybersecurity coordination, inspections, and the protection of classified material across Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and Special Access Program Facilities (SAPFs). The CSSO works closely with program leadership, ISSMs/ISSOs, security managers, and government security offices to maintain secure operations, enable mission readiness, and ensure the integrity of all classified support functions.
