This role installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit using appropriate hand tools; ensures materials are properly loaded using pallets, trays, racks, and shelves; and conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas using a hand truck, electric dolly, wheelbarrow, or other devices. The role may occasionally operate an industrial truck or electric hoist to assist with loading or moving materials and products, ensures all identifying tags, labels, or marks are properly attached to materials, cases, bales, or other containers, and maintains accurate records in the appropriate warehouse information system as required by management.
