Process factory warranty claims (online or manually) efficiently and accurately by obtaining warranty authorization prior to work beginningUpload all necessary documents for warranty authorization and follow any/all procedures as prescribed in the manufacturer's warranty policy and/or procedure manualsEnsure all policies and procedures have been followed by technicians prior to processing paperwork or signing off on technician hours applied to warranty claimFollow up on all warranty receivables to ensure payment is received in a timely mannerCommunicate with Service Advisors and technicians as needed for diagnosis, authorization and/or repairsProcess and enter all service orders accurately and efficientlyMaintain accurate information in the service system by updating changes throughout the day as the changes occur, for both warranty claims and service ordersAnswer incoming telephone calls from manufacturers (warranty claims) and/or customers (service orders), always responding in a courteous and professional mannerParticipate in training as required by managementPerform any other tasks deemed necessary by supervisor. Two (2) years of warranty experience in automotive, truck or RV industry preferredHigh School diploma or GED - requiredProficient computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPointExcellent problem solving skills and the ability to identify root cause.
