Coordinates and arranges with state and local law enforcement and transportation agencies to ensure all applicable government regulations are followed in obtaining and securing necessary permits from each jurisdiction for highway and local road closures for AF Marathon events, oversees coordination of equivalent requirements for Space Force Develops, administers, and negotiates contracts for the best quality and pricing of supplies, equipment and service contracts in support of the marathons, ensures procurement/contracting efforts are accomplished in accordance with applicable rules and regulations. Ensures coordination for transportation requirements; security assistance; and other support operations to include telephone and radio communications, Audio/Visual, Medical Services, Engineering, Public Affairs, Protocol, Safety, and Legal support is complete, and all necessary functional requirements are prepared and in place for marathon events/activities.
