Antepartum (within L & D), postpartum (4th floor) (occasionally), additional assignments within scope and experience 2-5 Years Exp will consider first time travelers 48 Hours Level II Trauma Center Level IV Nicu 15 L&D Beds, 12 Antepartum, 4 OB ED, 3 OR Ratios- Active Labor 1:1, Non Active 1:2, 1:2-3 Antepartum Dependent on acuity BLS NRP, Int Awhon &D RN: High acuity experience: labor management and delivery of high risk OB patients, ability to triage OB patients, circulate in OR, cervical checks, reading/interpreting fetal monitoring strips; second set of hands (receive and recover normal newborn as needed). • ANM: Will function as a Charge Nurse for their shift, with occasionally taking patient assignments, so Charge experience is a must, will also help manage OB ED patients, and experience with the above patient types, must also be able to connect with staff, have strong interpersonal skills, willing to educate, staff rounding, help with conflicts .
