The primary responsibility of the Weekend On-Call Coordinator is to coordinate staffing and secure coverage for open shifts that occur during assigned weekends.
In the event of a last-minute call-out or staffing emergency where coverage cannot be secured despite reasonable efforts, the Weekend On-Call Coordinator may be required to provide temporary client coverage until a caregiver can be arranged.
While this is expected to be an uncommon occurrence, applicants must be willing and able to report to a client's home when necessary to ensure continuity of care and client safety. Weekend On-Call Coordinator is responsible for managing staffing issues, caregiver call-outs, scheduling adjustments, client concerns, and weekend communications while ensuring continuity of care and operations.
