Requirements: Valid membership in an applicable Bar association 5+ years of business immigration experience Strong knowledge across a broad range of nonimmigrant visa matters, including H-1B, L-1A/L-1B, E-2 Treaty Investor, O-1, TN, E-3, and J-1 matters Strong knowledge of employment-based permanent residence matters, including PERM, EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-1C, NIW, and adjustment of status Significant experience handling complex RFEs, NOIDs, and other challenging case issues Experience working directly with startups and smaller corporate clients, including advising on immigration strategy as companies grow Proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and writing skills Strong organization skills Experience managing multiple competing priorities independently Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills. Associate Attorneys work alongside Legal Assistants, Paralegals, Team Managers, Partners, and other Associates to prepare and file a variety of business-related non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions, including taking a leading role in client communication, working closely with legal support teams to ensure understanding of general and specific case strategies, and conducting high-level case reviews of work done by legal support teams.
