Join Legacy Nursing & Rehabilitation and be a part of something truly special.DEPARTMENT: NursingSUPERVISOR: Director of NursingPOSITION SUMMARY: <ul><li>The purpose of the RN Weekend Supervisor position is to provide support and oversight to the nursing department by organizing and managing nursing services provided by the facility on weekends. </li><li>Assists the DON in the supervision of nursing care and nursing staff on weekends. </li><li> The Weekend RN Supervisor assists in management, delegation, and contribution to nursing department programs such as weights, infection control, incidents and accidents, gradual dose reductions, etc.</li><li> Assists in carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and scope of practice.</li><li>Overseeing nursing services during the evenings and weekends, ensuring quality patient care and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.</li><li>Managing clinical staff and operations during weekend shifts, including medication passes and direct resident care.</li><li>Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and ensure holistic patient care.</li><li>Developing and implementing individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs, including monitoring health status and vital signs.</li><li>Providing emotional support and education to residents and their families, fostering strong relationships and ensuring their well-being.</li></ul>
