Position SummaryThe Grid Master is the high-energy host of the Grid City experience. This role is part game master, part hype leader, and part guest guide. Grid Masters run immersive experiences with confidence, keep energy high, manage guest flow, deliver clean and exciting briefings, and make sure every group feels welcomed, supported, and fully dialed in from start to finish.Core Responsibilities<ul><li>Welcome guests with strong energy and help set the tone for an unforgettable visit.</li><li>Host and facilitate VR games, racing simulator sessions, and other immersive attractions.</li><li>Deliver clear, confident pre-game instructions, safety rules, and gameplay briefings.</li><li>Keep sessions running on time by managing transitions, pacing, and guest flow.</li><li>Maintain a fun, polished, and engaging atmosphere on the floor at all times.</li><li>Troubleshoot minor equipment or gameplay issues and escalate larger issues quickly.</li><li>Support birthday parties, team-building groups, corporate events, and special activations.</li><li>Encourage add-ons, memberships, return visits, and guest engagement through strong hospitality and product knowledge.</li><li>Reset and maintain play areas so each group enters a clean, organized, ready-to-go experience.</li><li>Coordinate closely with the front desk, managers, and lounge support team to keep the operation smooth.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>High energy, strong communication, and confidence leading individuals and groups.</li><li>Ability to stay composed and upbeat in a fast-moving environment.</li><li>Comfortable speaking to guests of all ages and group sizes.</li><li>Hospitality mindset with attention to detail, timing, and presentation.</li><li>Interest in gaming, immersive entertainment, events, theater, or live guest interaction preferred.</li><li>Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.</li></ul>

Job Overview:
Under general supervision, provides prompt and courteous food service to customers. Set-up, service and break down assigned functions in a safe, accident-free manner.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Read BEO and know how to complete a set-up.</li><li>Set tables in assigned area correctly and uniformly.</li><li>Keep station neat and clean while servicing guest per established policies and procedures.</li><li>Use proper in-room clearing and aisle tray break-down buffet or other special food service tables and equipment.</li><li>Assist Lead Banquet Server in setting up/breaking down buffet or other special food service tables and equipment.</li><li>Greet and serve guests following guidelines set by the policies/procedures regarding the service of food and beverage.</li><li>Follow all guest check and money-handling procedures when serving a-la-carte and beverage orders.</li><li>Complete assigned sidework.</li><li>Remains attentive to the customers throughout the entire dining experience, adhering to or exceeding service standards at all times.</li><li>Able to work flexible shifts to consist of mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekend and holidays.</li><li>Travel requirements - local travel for outside catering functions only.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
Education/Formal TrainingHigh school education or equivalent. ExperiencePrevious experience in similar position of 3 months or longer. Knowledge/Skills<ul><li>Must have basic knowledge of customer service principles, food service function, and restaurant and kitchen operations.</li></ul>Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Going in the freezer temperatures can be -10 degrees.
