Overview:
 TRC is seeking a talented, motivated, and experienced Civil or Environmental Engineer to join the Engineering, Construction, and Remediation team in our Austin, Texas office. The position requires a strong technical background and a solid reputation of building and maintaining key client relationships.  This position will act as project engineer on remediation, compliance, and construction projects. The position may include site assessment and investigation; project management; design, installation, and operation and maintenance of remediation systems; development and certification of SPCC plans; development of SWPPPs; field inspections; storm water permit compliance; municipal storm water ordinance compliance; and technical reporting.  Additionally, TRC is seeking someone with experience in hazardous materials and waste management, due diligence, and industrial wastewater. A Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas is required.  

Responsibilities:
<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li style="color:#002060">Preparation and certification of SPCC plans. </li><li style="color:#002060">Preparation of construction and industrial stormwater SWPPPs.  </li><li style="color:#002060">Design, installation, and operation and maintenance of remediation systems, including soil vapor extraction, bioventing, dual-phase extraction, total fluid recovery, and product skimming systems.</li><li style="color:#002060">Preparation of NPDES/TPDES-related documents.</li><li style="color:#002060;margin-left:0in">Design, construction oversight, and inspection of liner systems.</li><li style="color:#002060">Compliance monitoring for construction and industrial stormwater permits.</li><li style="color:#002060">Facility-related environmental regulatory auditing, permitting, and reporting.</li><li style="color:#002060">Project management.</li><li style="color:#002060">Preparation of technical reports under the direction of a Senior Manager/Engineer.</li><li style="color:#002060">Conduct site investigations, water sampling/monitoring, use automated equipment, and field data reporting.</li><li style="color:#002060">Identify and develop new business opportunities, and deliver responsive, high-quality services.</li><li style="color:#002060">Review RFPs/RFQs and prepare proposals and statements of qualifications.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li style="color:#002060">Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental consulting.</li><li style="color:#002060">Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil or environmental engineering.</li><li style="color:#002060">PE license in the State of Texas.</li><li style="color:#002060">Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and Outlook.</li><li style="color:#002060">Demonstrated experience in preparing proposals and executing work.</li><li style="color:#002060">Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li style="color:#002060">High safety awareness and willingness to adhere to all aspects of TRC’s rigorous behavior-based health and safety programs.</li><li style="color:#002060">40-hour HAZWOPER training, including current 8-hour refresher, is preferred.</li><li style="color:#002060">Some travel, early start times, and occasional night or weekend work will be required.</li><li style="color:#002060">Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test and a company physical exam.</li></ul> Benefits*: TRC offers a competitive benefit package consisting of:<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance.</li><li>401k package that includes both traditional and Roth IRA options and Company match.</li><li>Paid time off contingent upon full time or part time status and level of seniority (ranging from 15 to 25 days per year).</li><li>All full-time employees enjoy a minimum of 8 Paid Holidays per year.</li><li>TRC ensures that all employees, including those that work part-time, receive paid sick, family, and disability leave in accordance with the laws of their state of residence.</li></ul>*These benefits are applicable to US employees depending on their employment status (full time, part time, or temporary).
